Day 6 Gisburn to Wycollar 16 wet miles

Waved off by Pip andKirk in dry after wet wet night. BBC forecast was for cloudy but dry. Very poor forecasting - heavy rain after an hour and only last hour or so dry again.
But despite this we enjoyed our ride through very varied terrain. Moorland , wooded tracks and farmland. Sue and Helen cowherds while Jan hid behind. Many gate, no lunch just pressed on. Horses great and never tired and were rewarded by afternoon sunshine and loads of grass at Parsons Lee Farm.
Riders got tea at handy cafe then onto Ursula's for the night. 4 poster and adjacent shower in extraordinary old farm house.
As usual now blogging in pub with dry knickers all round.
