On Monday 7th September three ladies, of a certain age, will set out aboard their much younger and fitter horses to travel the Pennine Bridleway. Starting from 'Stone Trails' in Kirkby Stephen, they will ride some 155 miles 'home' to Rushop Hall B&B in the Peak District National Park.
Stopping at various pubs and B&Bs en route they will complete the journey in 12 days. Their ever-patient and willing horses will have to carry all they need, so, 'Spare Knickers' are going to be high on the agenda!
